Tecon 10 notice needs to be published by August for the auction to take place in 2026

The Minister of Ports and Airports, Tomé Franca, said this Saturday (23) that the government needs to publish the notice for the concession auction for the Tecon Santos 10 terminal within the next three months so that the bidding can take place this year. The planned investments are R$6.4 billion, with the aim of making the structure the largest and most modern container terminal in the country.

"Our focus is to hold the auction this year, and for that we need to publish the notice between July and August", said the minister to journalists, after participating in the Esfera forum in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo.

The auction rules are being reviewed by the ministry, together with the Civil House, after an impasse over which companies will be able to compete for the terminal.
