A tram derailed and collided with a building in the center of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on Monday morning (25). The collision caused extensive damage and at least 12 people were injured, emergency services and state media reported.
The line ten tram left the tracks while crossing an intersection and entered the sidewalk before crashing into the ground floor of a corner building, the city's public transport company, GSP Beograd, said in a statement.
Among the 12 people who were injured, ten were on board the tram and two were inside the building, GSP Beograd added.
