USA says agreement with Iran could be concluded this Monday, but Tehran denies it; FOLLOW Iran's spokesperson says that an agreement is not imminent, despite progress in negotiations. Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the agreement could be concluded as soon as Monday. Rubio also said that the US has on the table "a very solid proposal" to open the Strait of Hormuz, a proposal "that is not only very reasonable, but is also the right one for the world." . This weekend, Trump told Axios: "Either we reach a good agreement or I'm going to blow them to hell," referring to Iran. American and Iranian forces have maintained a ceasefire since April 8, while, on the diplomatic level, negotiations continue to find a way out of the conflict.
