"Don't believe the bluff of the defeated president, time is running against the Americans," said Iranian Parliament speaker Ebrahim Rezaei on the social network X this Monday (25). The publication comes after Donald Trump's new threat against the country.
On Saturday (23), Trump said he thought the agreement was close to being concluded - hours later, he also stated that he would "blow them [the Iranians] into a thousand hells" if the two parties did not reach a consensus by this Sunday.
Hours after the speeches, Rezaei stated that "if they [the US] want an agreement, let them negotiate; if they want gasoline at 6 dollars, let them stand still and bluffing until grass grows under their feet."

Still on the potential agreement between the US and Iran, Marco Rubio defended Israel's right to defense. The Iranian spokesman reinforced that Iran 'will not bow to force and threat."
Nuclear agreement only after the end of the war
In an interview with the local agency Isna, diplomat Hossein Noushabadi, director of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, classified rumors of a 20-year suspension of uranium enrichment as "pure fabrication."
According to the diplomat, the nuclear program and uranium reserves are highly enrichment will only be discussed at a later stage of up to 60 days, under strict conditions:
Full and verifiable suspension of all sanctions;
Complete release of frozen Iranian assets;
Total withdrawal of US forces from the region.
The initial draft defended by Iran focuses on the end of the war on all fronts (including Lebanon), the lifting of the American naval blockade, the unrestricted sale of oil and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. According to the diplomat, the issue of Hormuz will continue to be dealt with exclusively bilaterally between Iran and Oman.
The spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the country should not charge for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, entering, saying that services provided usually have a price, but would not be considered as fees.
Agreement could be concluded this Monday
The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, stated that the agreement between Iran, Israel and the United States could be reached. be concluded this Monday (25). Rubio also said that the country would give diplomacy every chance before 'exploring alternatives'.
"We thought we could have something new last night, maybe today, I wouldn't jump to conclusions from that," said Rubio in New Delhi. "Negotiations are progressing on Sunday. in an orderly and constructive manner", he published.
Negotiations between Iran and the United States to end the war in the Middle East, which began at the end of February, have been dragging on for weeks. A proposal made by Iran last week was rejected by Washington, which said it considered the terms insufficient.
One of the main American demands is the definitive end of Iran's nuclear program, which Tehran rejects.

Agreement may be close to happening
Just this Sunday, the newspaper "New York Times" reported that the two countries reached a preliminary understanding: Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the delivery of its nuclear arsenal.

The information is attributed to an American official close to the negotiations.
The United States has imposed a blockade on Iranian ports since April, after Tehran practically paralyzed traffic through the Strait of Hormuz in response to American and Israeli attacks against Iran, which began on February 28.
Hormuz is a strategic corridor for world oil trade - before the conflict, around 20% of global production passed through there. The temporary closure put pressure on commodity prices around the world.
In this Sunday's post, Trump also makes reference to the nuclear agreement signed by Barack Obama in 2015. The pact provided for limiting the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for the removal of international sanctions.
Critics of the agreement, including Israel, claim that part of the released resources was used by the Iranian regime to finance armed groups in the Middle East.
