Constructed in partnership between CNI (National Confederation of Industry) and Fiepa (Federation of Industries of the State of Pará), the document establishes a long-term agenda aimed at strengthening industry in Pará, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, infrastructure and economic development.

According to the manager of the Industry Observatory, Felipe Freitas, the document was created from thematic workshops, interviews with business leaders and institutional coordination.

Infrastructure appears as the axis with the largest number of planned actions, with 137 strategic initiatives. Next are productive development, technology and innovation, economic environment and business environment.

The document highlights the need to expand investments in logistics, energy, connectivity and legal security to reduce historical bottlenecks in the North region.

In the area of business environment, the map proposes administrative simplification measures, integration between environmental agencies, strengthening digital government and creating legal security mechanisms for companies.

Actions are also planned to reduce bureaucracy through the implementation of a Digital One-Stop Shop for licensing and authorizations.

President of Fiepa reinforces the role of the sustainable agenda in the face of wars

Another highlight of the document is the consolidation of Pará as a reference in bioeconomy and sustainable development.

The map foresees programs aimed at industrial decarbonization, encouraging renewable energy, strengthening the Amazon socio-bioeconomy and expanding the sustainable use of biodiversity.

For the director of Industrial Development at CNI, Jefferson Gomes, Pará has a strategic role for Brazilian industrial development, especially in the areas of mining, energy transition, infrastructure and sustainability.

The publication also projects that, by 2032, Brazilian industry should advance in areas such as digitalization, automation, artificial intelligence and renewable energy, strengthening the country's competitiveness and reducing regional inequalities.
