Arrest video: Britney Spears is handcuffed and offers lasagna to police officers

The most recent arrest of Britney Spears, 44, had new details revealed. The pop star was arrested in March, in California, United States, but only last Thursday (21) were the videos recorded by police vehicles released.

In the records, it is possible to see the singer being approached by authorities after reports from drivers about a vehicle traveling in a zigzag pattern in Ventura County, making sudden lane changes, in addition to sudden braking.

The officers who stopped Britney quickly smelled alcohol coming from the car. According to TMZ, she drank mimosa, wine and mixed the drinks with medications such as Lamictal, an anticonvulsant, Prozac, an antidepressant, and Adderall, an amphetamine-based neurostimulant.

The singer underwent balance and coordination tests before being handcuffed during the approach. Authorities pointed out that she had slurred speech, reddened eyes and behavior that demonstrated clear intoxication. Even so, the celebrity passed the breathalyzer test.

The publication revealed that Spears stated that she did not want to get out of the car because of the intensity of traffic when she was initially stopped by the police, so they suggested carrying out the stop in a less busy place.

She then went on to inform that she lived close to the place and even suggested that the professionals go to the residence to eat lasagna and take a dip in the pool.

Settlement in Court
Britney Spears accepted a legal settlement this May with the United States Court. The singer pleaded guilty to reckless driving related to alcohol and drug consumption, which avoided a more serious conviction for DUI, related to driving under the influence of alcohol in the North American country.

The voice of "Toxic" received a year of informal probation, a fine and was forced to participate in a kind of educational course on alcohol consumption. In April, she had already been voluntarily admitted to a rehabilitation clinic.
