The PF (Federal Police) rejected the proposal for a plea bargain from Daniel Vorcaro, imprisoned since March 4 for financial fraud. According to information obtained, the corporation understood that the former banker did not bring any news in relation to what the investigators had already gathered. Negotiations, however, continue with the PGR (Attorney General's Office), which still shows resistance to the agreement.

Debate on the validity of the plea bargain
Lawyer Soraia Mendes highlighted the importance of understanding the preliminary steps that involve a plea bargain. "The plea bargain demands a series of steps that are preliminary steps", he stated. Bortoleto positively classified the PF's stance of not accepting insufficient information.
