Banks

Bank branches throughout Brazil will not open for in-person service to the public this Good Friday (3). Bank compensations, including TED (Available Electronic Transfer), will not be effected on the holiday. There will also be no trading on the Stock Exchange (B3).

Billing slips and consumption bills (water, energy, telephone, among others) due on days when there is no bank clearing can be paid, without extra charges, on the next business day. The payment of taxes and duties must be anticipated in order to avoid charging interest and fines.
