Notes: I found tuning down a whole step allowed for chords that accomodate the recording
better;
This version also includes the 'weird' chord Abm7 in the verse. This is my
interpretation of the chord. The
original song was played on piano with additional instruments so the voicing is slightly
more complex but I
think Abm7 is satisfactory- just remember to sing off of the (relative) F# (minor 7th of
the Ab chord);
I recommend playing the G6 as a power/ barre chord with the open B and E strings (True A
and D)- this just
sounds more resonant and open-ended (3-5-5-4-0-0);
This version includes the riff which appears at the end of each verse. The vocals mostly
sing with the riff
except in verse 2 with the line "was all I found"* which should be played to ear
starting from the
2nd 8th note- (true G.)
