The bush ballad, bush song, or bush poem is a style of poetry and folk music that depicts the life, character and scenery of the Australian bush. The typical bush ballad employs a straightforward rhyme structure to narrate a story, often one of action and adventure, and uses language that is colourful, colloquial, and idiomatically Australian. Bush ballads range in tone from humorous to melancholic, and many explore themes of Australian folklore, including bushranging, droving, droughts, floods, life on the frontier, the city-country divide, and relations between Indigenous and European Australians.

This is a nice easy one to play ....... well other than the B7 chord (bit tricky when starting out haha) but that chord fits well with that particular part of the song and is a good one to learn, it is a unique cool sounding chord. It is a fun song to play. The lyrics my not be exact as I couldn't find them online so had to listen and hope I got them right. I use a (DD U U DU) strumming patern and you can chose the tempo as I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it is probably a medium speed strum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iap2g0HYnEw [Intro] Em Em Em Em [Verse 1] Em Am C Em It's the cattle camp in the early grey, ole Whitey's up and he throws the billy on, Am C Em and high upon an ancient bridge a dingo stands and watches in the dawn, [Pre-Chorus] D Am and once again the sun will rise, like the burnin' brand C B7 we'll blaze a path across this timeless laaand.
