pais XW, status Official). Sonic Youth foi uma banda de rock americana formada na cidade de Nova York em 1981. Os membros fundadores Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore e Lee Ranaldo permaneceram juntos por toda a história da banda, enquanto Steve Shelley (bateria) sucedeu uma série de bateristas de curto prazo em 1985, completando a formação principal. Jim O'Rourke também foi membro da banda de 1999 a 2005, e Mark Ibold foi membro de 2006 a 2011. Testament é uma banda de thrash metal estadunidense criada em 1983 em Berkeley, Califórnia. Foi uma das fundadoras do movimento thrash metal da "Bay Area" em São Francisco ao lado de outras como Metallica, Megadeth, Forbidden, Exodus, entre outras. Atualmente a banda consiste no vocalista Chuck Billy, nos guitarristas Eric Peterson e Alex Skolnick, no baixista Steve DiGiorgio e no baterista Gene Hoglan. Peterson e Billy são os únicos integrantes que participaram de todas as gravações do grupo.
