Soul, é uma progressão de acordes e reviravolta usada na música popular ocidental. A progressão, é representada por I-vi-IV-V ou I-VI-II-V. Como por exemplo, em C Maior, temos C-Am-F-G. Como o nome indica, era comum na década de 1950, particularmente associado ao estilo vocal doo-wop. Considera-se que a primeira música a usar a sequência extensivamente é a canção Blue Moon (1933).
