Posteriormente, lançou-se numa bem-sucedida carreira solo. Ele ganhou seis Grammy Awards, três Brit Awards, 13 MTV Video Music Awards e o Polar Music Prize. Em reconhecimento ao seu ativismo pelos direitos humanos, ele recebeu o prêmio "Man of Peace" do Prêmio Nobel da Paz em 2006. Ele foi introduzido no Rock and Roll Hall of Fame como membro do Genesis em 2010, e como artista solo em 2014. Em 2026, a Loudwire o elegeu como o segundo maior cantor de rock progressivo de todos os tempos. Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr. é um músico, compositor e produtor musical norte-americano. Ele começou sua carreira como um guitarrista de estúdio em Nova York, tocando com a banda do programa Sesame Street na adolescência, e então trabalhando numa banda da casa Apollo Theater no Harlem, acompanhando artistas como Aretha Franklin, Ben E.
