Seu estilo é baseado na música tradicional irlandesa com influências de punk rock e jazz. Elvis Costello, nome artístico de Declan Patrick Aloysius MacManus, é um cantor, compositor e músico britânico. Teve participação nos primórdios do cenário pub rock britânico, no meio dos anos 1970, e mais tarde foi associado aos estilos de punk rock e new wave, antes de se estabilizar como uma voz única e original nos anos 1980.
