A canção é uma balada de estilo folk irlandês e foi composta como dupla, com MacGowan, cantor dos Pogues, no papel da personagem masculina e MacColl no feminino. Lançou como single em 23 de novembro de 1987 e mais tarde incluiu-se no álbum dos Pogues de 1988 If I Should Fall from Grace with God.
