Notavelmente, ele estrelou ao lado de Sean Penn em Shanghai Surprise (1986), Pierce Brosnan em Noble House (1988) e Claire Danes em Brokedown Palace (1999), e foi o ator principal em Growing Up (1996-2001) e Perth (2004).
