For example, a G on the third fret of the high E-string will be tabbed as "0" and a G# as "1", etc. . . It follows the vocal line pretty tightly. I usually play a normal G as in the main riff strumming down lightly and I then follow the vocal line as Perry sings from G to Gb to G, again as the guitar does in the main riff. Chorus: A# Their Eyes are God G C In a glass full of jelly G A# Bali in my eyes. Solo: e>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- b>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- g>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- d>-6-7-6-7-6-9--7-6-7--6-----6-7-6-7-6-9------------------------------------- a>-----------------------7--------------------------------------------------- E>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- repeat once then: p p p p e>-7-5-4--12-11-9-7----7-5-4-----------------------------------------7-5-4-5- b>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- g>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- d>------------------------------2-4-2-2-2-5-2-2-2-4-2-2-2-5-2-2-------------- a>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- E>--------------------------------------------------------------------------- e>-7-9-9-7-----------------------------3------------------------------------- b>-----------0-3-2-0-3-2-0-7-5-3-------3------------------------------------- g>-------------------------------------0------------------------------------- d>-------------------------------------0------------------------------------- a>-------------------------------------2------------------------------------- E>-------------------------------------3------------------------------------- The A# at the end of the solo is the first chord in the chorus. As I said earlier, the guitar is simple and somewhat subdued in the background of the song. But it is quite melodic and leaves a lot opened to individual interpretation. I hope this came out well. If I screwed up on any of the numbering, by all means write me and I will correct it. I think it did come out accurate though. Anyway, enjoy it. . . -Brian M. Caravello
