[Intro/E Riff] The Intro and other E chord places is a riff that repeats between E and Esus4 (002220), I think the rythmn is something like ||S|||S|||S|||S (With S being the Sus4 chord) Intro- E/ESus4 F# A Verse 1- E F# A E Is it my imagination, or have I finally found something worth looking for, E F# A E I was looking for some action, but all I found was Cigarettes and Alcohol, Chorus- A E A E You could wait for a lifetime, to spend your days in the sunshine, A E D A You might as well be a white lie, 'cause when it comes on top, (???? [Note on pronounciation] The way words are sung makes a big difference to this song, any word that ends in tion, should be said 'sheeeon'. The riff seems to carry on through most of the song with the second guitar going through this progression: Em F# A E The second guitar only starts the F#, A, E part after the riff has been played. The first guitar can play the whole thing if necessary just go staight from the riff into the F#, A, E part! Also try replacing the A & E chords with A5add9 & Em Here are the chords just in case...: Em - 022000 E - 022100 A - x02220 A5add9 - x02200 F# - 244322 Just listen to the song and it should slip into place somewhere!!! As usual I still have my crappy little acoustic so with enough distortion this should sound spot-on on an electric guitar. Thanks to Ian lathwal (ilathwel@rpms.ac.uk) who posted the tab above this tab works well with my little addition, I have based it on what he has writen so it should sound really good now. Sorry about all the text but I¹m rather new at this and need a little practice. Please bare with any mistakes as i am doing this all from memory! Hope this helps a bit! jason
